HMSI Reports 5% Sales Growth In July As Exports Rise 35%

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India recorded total sales of 5.42 lakh units in July 2026, with export volumes rising 35% year-on-year and domestic sales growing 2%.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) reported total sales of 5.42 lakh units in July 2026, up 5% from 5.15 lakh units in the same month last year. Growth during the month was supported by higher export volumes, while domestic sales registered a modest increase.

Domestic sales stood at 4.76 lakh units in July, marking a 2% year-on-year increase from 4.66 lakh units. Exports grew 35% to 66,498 units, compared with 49,047 units in July 2025.

For the April-July period of FY27, HMSI reported cumulative sales of 21.55 lakh units, an increase of 14% over 18.91 lakh units recorded during the corresponding period of FY26. Domestic sales for the four-month period rose 11% to 18.90 lakh units, while exports increased 35% to 2.65 lakh units.

The company said the two-wheeler market witnessed steady demand during July. HMSI currently operates a network of more than 7,000 touchpoints across India.
