Hinduja Tech acquires TECOSIM group to expand automotive engineering capacity

Hinduja Tech Ltd, a subsidiary of Ashok Leyland specialising in mobility-focused engineering and R&D services, has finalised its acquisition of TECOSIM Group, a prominent European engineering services provider. This move bolsters Hinduja Tech’s presence in Europe and aligns with its ambition to rank among the top 10 global mobility engineering companies.
Hinduja Tech, delivering sustainable mobility solutions, aims to leverage TECOSIM Group’s proficiency in virtual validation and body engineering. The acquisition enhances Hinduja Tech’s global footprint, providing operational efficiencies and a broader suite of services for the evolving needs of the automotive and mobility industries.
The TECOSIM Group, headquartered in Europe, is recognised for its innovation in virtual validation—a key aspect of automotive design that reduces the need for physical prototypes—and its expertise in body engineering. With a workforce of over 650 employees spread across the UK, Germany, Romania, Japan, and India, TECOSIM brings a wealth of talent and technical know-how to Hinduja Tech.
