Hikvision India unveils advanced traffic solutions at TrafficInfraTech expo 2024
Hikvision India introduced new transportation technologies, including Multi-Lane Free Flow Tolling and Motorcycle Enforcement Systems, at TrafficInfraTech 2024, showcasing innovations in traffic management, security, and urban mobility to industry leaders and stakeholders.
Hikvision India presented several new solutions at TrafficInfraTech, offering advanced technology-driven innovations for the transportation sector. The company introduced the Multi-Lane Free Flow Tolling system, a Motorcycle Enforcement System, and ADAS & DMS solutions. These offerings form part of Hikvision’s broader range of Transportation Security Systems, Intelligent Traffic Management solutions, and Toll Plaza surveillance solutions.
Hikvision India participated in the 12th edition of TrafficInfraTech Expo 2024 to demonstrate its latest technologies, products, and solutions tailored for India’s transportation industry. The event, one of Asia’s largest integrated expos focused on traffic, transportation technology, road technology, and smart mobility, was held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from October 22-24. The expo was inaugurated by Shri Mahmood Ahmad, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, along with other industry leaders, government representatives, and delegates. Hikvision’s booth showcased its transport security solutions, emphasizing traffic safety and urban mobility.
Commenting on the event, Ashish P. Dhakan, MD & CEO of Prama Hikvision India Private Limited, said, “India’s transportation sector requires customized solutions that address local challenges. Hikvision India also showcased other products at the expo, including command and control systems, parking management solutions, toll booth surveillance, body-worn cameras, dash cameras, and intelligent traffic systems.
The three-day Smart Mobility Conference 2024, themed "Enabling Responsible Mobility," was held alongside TrafficInfraTech Expo. The conference featured panel discussions and presentations on contemporary themes. On the second day, Mr. Rajiv Arora, National Manager of Roadways & Waterways at Prama Hikvision India Private Limited, participated in a panel discussion on “Case Studies on Intelligent Multimodal Transportation,” where he discussed Hikvision’s latest transportation security solutions.
TrafficInfraTech Expo provided a platform for government representatives, industry experts, project leaders, system integrators, and service providers to collaborate on finding solutions to urban transport challenges. The event concluded with strong representation from across India’s transportation sector.
