Hero Motors Limited made its market debut on Wednesday, listing at Rs 82.10 on the BSE and Rs 82.00 on the National Stock Exchange against an issue price of Rs 84.00 per equity share. Following the opening, buying momentum lifted the counter to an intraday high of Rs 98.51 on the BSE and Rs 98.40 on the NSE during the first day of trading.
Hero Motors said trading volumes reached 1,398.43 lakh shares on the NSE and 171.66 lakh shares on the BSE, taking combined day-one turnover across the two exchanges to Rs 1,435.5 crore. At the close of Wednesday's trading session, the company's total market capitalisation stood at Rs 4,474.48 crore on the BSE and Rs 4,469.48 crore on the NSE.
The primary market offering, which sought to raise approximately Rs 1,000 crore, had opened for subscription between September 16 and September 18, 2026. The issue closed with an overall subscription of 6.66 times.
