Vida Ubex: urban exploration, redefined
Kicking things off was the Vida Ubex concept, whose name plays on “Urbex” – short for urban exploration. True to its name, the Ubex is a city-focused electric motorcycle that takes design inspiration from supermoto-style machines. Vida says the Ubex prioritises ride comfort and agility, making it ideal for navigating dense urban environments while retaining a sporty edge.
Vida VXZ: developed with Zero Motorcycles
Next up was the Vida VXZ, developed in partnership with Zero Motorcycles, the California-based EV specialist. While details remain under wraps for now, the collaboration hints at Hero’s intent to move into more performance-oriented EV territory, leveraging Zero’s expertise in electric powertrains.
Vida Dirt.E range: for young and pro riders alike
Vida also expanded its Dirt.E line-up with two new electric off-roaders. The Dirt.E K3 is a kids’ electric dirt bike derived from the earlier Acro concept, designed for riders aged 4 to 10 years. It features an adjustable wheelbase and rider triangle, allowing the bike to grow with its young rider — and it’s set to launch in India soon. Alongside it was the Dirt.E, MX7, a full-size electric dirt bike built around a lightweight carbon-fibre frame, signalling Vida’s serious intent in the electric off-road segment.
Vida Novus: futuristic urban mobility
Beyond two-wheelers, Hero also showcased a series of forward-looking mobility concepts under its new Vida Novus sub-brand. The highlight was the Nex 1, an innovative backpack that transforms into a compact electric scooter — perfect for last-mile urban mobility.
Joining it were the Nex 2, a three-wheeled electric scooter combining trike-like stability with scooter agility (somewhat reminiscent of a mini all-electric Piaggio MP3), and the Nex 3, a tiny electric city car that teases Hero’s ambitions beyond the two-wheeler space.
Vida VX2 heads to Europe
Meanwhile, the Vida VX2 — the brand’s more conventional electric scooter — is set for its European debut soon, with pre-bookings already open and deliveries expected to commence shortly.
