Hero MotoCorp Reports 21% Growth in July 2025 Dispatches, VIDA Records Strong EV Sales
In the scooter segment, Hero MotoCorp noted gains in market share, driven by the performance of the Destini 125 and Xoom 125.
Hero MotoCorp reported dispatches of 449,755 units of motorcycles and scooters in July 2025, marking a 21% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 370,274 units in July 2024.
The company recorded 339,827 VAHAN retail registrations for the month, aligning with market trends across both urban and rural areas. Retail demand remained steady, with expectations of higher volumes during the upcoming festive season. (VAHAN data excludes Telangana, as of August 1, 2025.)
In the scooter segment, Hero MotoCorp noted gains in market share, driven by the performance of the Destini 125 and Xoom 125. In motorcycles, the company introduced the HF Deluxe Pro to expand its HF Deluxe portfolio. The new variant aims to cater to entry-level buyers with updated styling, features, and fuel efficiency.
VIDA, the company’s electric mobility brand, reported its highest-ever monthly performance with 11,226 units dispatched and 10,489 VAHAN registrations in July. VIDA also doubled its EV VAHAN market share YoY to 10.2%. The recently launched VIDA e-scooter VX2 contributed significantly to this growth. The model features a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, aimed at simplifying electric vehicle adoption.
In the international market, Hero MotoCorp’s global business reported sales of 37,358 units in July 2025, up from 22,739 units in July 2024, reflecting strong momentum and growth above the industry average.
