Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, reported robust sales figures for April 2024. The company sold 5.33 lakh units of motorcycles and scooters during the month, marking a significant 34.7% growth compared to April 2023, when it sold 3.96 lakh units. The company witnessed a growth of 9% over March 2024's sales of 4.90 lakh units.
The sales trend in April highlights Hero MotoCorp's strong performance, particularly in the 125cc and 400+cc segments. The Xtreme 125R is experiencing high demand nationwide, prompting the company to increase supplies to meet customer needs, Hero MotoCorp shared.
Hero MotoCorp has also started delivering its flagship product, the Mavrick 440, to customers across the country. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman, personally handed over the motorcycle to the first few customers in different locations in Delhi NCR. The initial response to the Mavrick 440 has been positive, and the expanding presence of Hero 2.0 and Premia outlets is enhancing accessibility nationwide.
Furthermore, Hero MotoCorp, in collaboration with its authorised distributor CG Motors, inaugurated a product assembly facility in Nepal during the month. The facility, with a capacity of 75,000 units per annum, will attract new investments and generate employment opportunities in the region. CG Motors plans to expand its sales and service network across Nepal to meet the growing demand from customers.
