Hero MotoCorp Enters UK Market with Hunk 440 Motorcycle

Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, has launched operations in the United Kingdom through a partnership with distributor MotoGB. The company announced the expansion on October 23, 2025, introducing its Euro 5+ range led by the Hunk 440 model.

The UK entry follows recent expansions into Italy and Spain, establishing Hero MotoCorp's presence in three European markets. The New Delhi-based manufacturer now operates in 51 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America, serving a customer base of over 125 million.

MotoGB, a Lancashire-based family business with over 40 years in the motorcycle industry, will distribute Hero MotoCorp products through an initial network of 25 sales and service outlets. The partnership plans to expand to 35 locations by 2026. MotoGB operates from its headquarters at Fairclough House in Adlington, Chorley.

The Hunk 440 motorcycle enters the A2 performance category with a 440cc engine producing 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 36.0 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The model features a high tensile steel trellis frame, dual-channel ABS with 320mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes, USD cartridge forks manufactured by KYB, and a digital TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation. The motorcycle is priced at £3,499, with an additional £200 in on-the-road charges.

Hero MotoCorp has maintained its position as the leading two-wheeler manufacturer for 24 consecutive years. The company operates eight manufacturing facilities in India, Colombia, and Bangladesh, supported by research and development centres in India and Germany. Hero MotoCorp holds the distinction of being the only Indian two-wheeler manufacturer listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.

The manufacturer has established collaborations with Harley-Davidson and Zero Motorcycles, and holds strategic investments in electric vehicle companies Ather Energy and Euler Motors. Through its electric mobility division VIDA, Hero MotoCorp is developing electric vehicle technology. The company also operates Hero MotoSports Team Rally, which competes in international rally racing events including the Dakar Rally.

All Hero MotoCorp products sold in the UK include a two-year warranty. The Hunk 440 is available in three colors: Twilight Blue, Phantom Black, and Titanium Grey.
