Hero MotoCorp appoints Latika Taneja as Head of Corporate Communications, Corporate Affairs & CSR, strengthening leadership in brand strategy, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability initiatives.
Hero MotoCorp Ltd., the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has announced the appointment of Latika Taneja as Head of Corporate Communications, Corporate Affairs, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), effective August 19, 2025.
In this role, Taneja will oversee the development of the company’s brand narrative, stakeholder engagement, and strategic CSR initiatives. She will also play a key role in aligning corporate communications with broader business objectives and enhancing the company’s long-term sustainability and social impact efforts.
With over 23 years of experience in corporate leadership roles, Taneja has held senior positions at multinational companies including Shell, Mastercard, DuPont, Alcatel-Lucent, and MetLife. Most recently, she served as Head of Corporate Relations at Shell India, where she led the establishment and expansion of the corporate relations function across multiple regions.
She is recognized as one of India’s Top 100 Public Relations Professionals and was awarded the Women Disruptor Award for Excellence in PR in 2019. Taneja holds a Bachelor’s degree in English (Hons) from Lady Shri Ram College, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Symbiosis, and has completed an executive program at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, stated that Taneja’s expertise in reputation management and strategic communications will support the company’s growth and positioning in the evolving mobility sector.
The appointment reflects Hero MotoCorp’s ongoing commitment to strengthening governance, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable business practices.
