Hengst Filtration inaugurates advanced manufacturing facility in Bengaluru

The newly inaugurated facility, covering 36,000 square feet, is set to produce a wide array of products catering to different industry verticals.

Hengst Filtration, a Germany-based filtration manufacturing company, has unveiled its cutting-edge facility in Yelahanka, Bengaluru. With an initial investment of 2 million Euros, the company is laying the groundwork for its operations in India, recognising the country's importance as both a key market and a potential export destination.

Christopher Heine, Group CEO, Hengst Filtration said, “India represents a significant growth opportunity for Hengst Filtration. The country's expanding economy, coupled with its growing demand for filtration systems across industries, makes it an ideal fit for our expansion plans. We are confident that our innovative solutions that bundle filtration for industry and the environment will be well-received by our Indian customers.”

In terms of application, the company say they can be used on- and off-road automotive applications including stationery engines, hydraulic applications, industrial processed air, and in indoor air quality set-ups. Proprietary technologies are patented products for separation of particles and chemicals for oil air fuel and water.

The Yelahanka facility, spanning 36,000 square feet was set up in less than six months, will manufacture a diverse range of products across multiple verticals. The company says the current production capacity is 30,000 units scalable to 1,00,000 units annually.
