Greenfuel Energy Solutions partners with EVE Energy for advanced lithium batteries

Greenfuel Energy Solutions, a provider of clean mobility solutions and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) in India, has announced a strategic partnership with EVE Energy Co., Ltd., a global leader in lithium battery technology. This collaboration aims to enhance Greenfuel's position as a reliable clean mobility solutions provider by accessing EVE Energy's cutting-edge lithium cells, including pouch, prismatic, and cylindrical cell technologies.

EVE Energy, known for possessing core technologies and comprehensive solutions in the lithium battery industry, offers a product sequence covering consumer, power, and ESS applications. The company's cylindrical batteries, incorporating NCM and LFP material systems, boast high safety, long endurance, extended cycle life, and a wide-temperature range. EVE has shipped over 2.1 billion cylindrical batteries globally, making it a leading player in the industry.

Akshay Kashyap, MD and founder of Greenfuel Energy Solutions, speaking on the announcement stated "Our alliance with EVE Energy signifies a significant advancement in our dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions for the electric mobility sector. Through our collaborative endeavors, we anticipate a remarkable increase in the lifespan of our e-mobility and ESS lithium-ion battery packs."

As a global partner of Greenfuel, EVE Energy maintains technological advantages in cylindrical batteries and has created a diversified product matrix for the global market. EVE Energy displayed its innovative products at the 2023 India EVEXPO exhibition, including cylindrical batteries, prismatic batteries, battery packs, battery systems, and Battery Management Systems (BMS), adaptable to various transportation electrification scenarios and IoT applications.

In 2023, EVE officially announced the construction of a battery factory in Debrecen, Hungary, focused on producing large cylindrical batteries for the BMW Group Debrecen plant. The factory covers an area of 450,000 square meters and aims to supply large cylindrical batteries.

Kashyap highlighted Greenfuel's role in India's electric vehicle (EV) revolution, stating, "Greenfuel stands at the cusp of the EV revolution, providing meticulously designed battery packs made in India. Our engineers focus on R&D, ensuring high-quality, reliable, durable, and safe batteries for our end users. To date, Greenfuel has sold over 100k lithium batteries covering a distance of over 80 million km."
