Greaves Electric Mobility sells 2 lakh Ampere electric two wheelers

In April 2023 the company had announced that it had surpassed the 100,000 sales milestone for its electric 2-wheelers.

Greaves Electric Mobility (GEMPL) has crossed 200,000 secondary sales of its Ampere brand electric vehicles as of the first quarter of fiscal year 2024, according to a release shared by the company. 

Ampere offers a product line that caters to both personal mobility and last-mile e-commerce consumers. In April 2023 the company announced that it had surpassed the 100,000 sales milestone for its electric 2-wheelers.

Sanjay Behl, CEO and Executive Director, GEMPL commenting on the milestone said, "As pioneers in the Indian EV industry, the company is committed to innovation and maintaining its role as an industry leader." 

Ampere currently has an extensive pan-India dealer network spanning  Tier-I to Tier-IV markets and is looking to strengthen its product lineup further and broaden its market reach,  company officials said.
