GoMechanic, one of India's prominent automotive service providers, has announced the nationwide rollout of its Roadside Repair Services (RSR), aiming to offer structured, technology-enabled support to motorists facing unexpected vehicle breakdowns across the country.

The company stated that the initiative is intended to address longstanding gaps in India's roadside assistance market, where timely and reliable help has historically been inconsistent, particularly during late hours or in unfamiliar locations.

Phase-Wise Rollout

In the first phase of the expansion, GoMechanic has deployed 200 service bikes across several major cities, including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Amritsar, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad. A second phase is planned for the second half of the year, during which the company intends to add 300 more service bikes to extend coverage to all major cities nationwide.

The RSR service covers core breakdown scenarios including flat tyre assistance, battery jump-starts, and emergency fuel delivery. The company says all services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, supported by multilingual customer care. GoMechanic has also noted that service interactions are designed with a focus on safety, particularly for women travelling alone or in unfamiliar areas.

Customers can access roadside assistance through the GoMechanic mobile application or by contacting the company's dedicated helpline at 9388893888.

Himanshu Arora, Co-Founder and CEO of GoMechanic, said the aim is to minimise downtime for car owners during emergencies and ensure professional help is accessible regardless of location or time.

Muskaan Kakkar, Co-Founder and COO, described the expansion as an effort to build long-term trust with Indian motorists through consistent service quality and nationwide availability.

GoMechanic has positioned the RSR rollout as a broader commitment to improving the overall ownership experience for car users in India.
