Godrej Tooling Achieves 95% Local Production for Automotive Sector

Godrej Enterprises Group's Tooling business has reported that 95% of the tooling supplied to its automotive clients is now manufactured locally, supported by government localization initiatives and supply chain integration efforts. The company generates over 85% of its total tooling revenue from the automotive industry, providing high-precision solutions across passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, commercial vehicles, and electric vehicle platforms.
The division's product portfolio includes press tools, die-casting dies, and precision tooling systems designed for vehicle manufacturers and Tier-1 suppliers. Beyond the automotive sector, the business supplies tooling solutions to industrial machinery, railways, metro rail, and defense manufacturing operations.
