GEML Partners with Alt Mobility to Expand Electric Fleet Operations
Partnership aims to accelerate B2B electric vehicle adoption across India's last-mile delivery sector.
Greaves Electric Mobility Ltd. (GEML) has strengthened its partnership with Alt Mobility to expand electric vehicle fleet operations in India's B2B sector.
The collaboration will see Alt Mobility operate over 700 Ampere Magnus SW S vehicles across Delhi and Bengaluru, with plans for further expansion. Alt Mobility specializes in commercial electric vehicle leasing and fleet management solutions.
The Ampere Magnus SW S, designed specifically for B2B applications, will be deployed alongside Indofast Energy, which provides energy infrastructure and battery-swapping solutions to support fleet operations.
Vikas Singh, Managing Director of Greaves Electric Mobility, said the partnership reflects the company's commitment to building a sustainable B2B ecosystem. "GEML is committed to strengthening India's B2B ecosystem by delivering reliable EV solutions to fleet operators and riders," Singh stated.
Under the partnership, GEML will supply electric two-wheelers while Alt Mobility procures and leases them through its Drive-to-Own model, targeting gig riders, delivery partners, and fleet operators.
The Magnus SW S features a dual-frame chassis capable of handling up to 200 kg payload, 165 mm ground clearance, and 12-inch tires. The vehicle includes IoT-enabled features for fleet management and comes with a warranty of up to three years or 75,000 kilometers. It is supported by over 500 Ampere Care service touchpoints across India.
Manufactured at Ampere's Ranipet facility, the vehicle draws on GEML's 17 years of electric vehicle expertise. GEML operates through three manufacturing plants in Hyderabad, Noida, and Ranipet, with 400 dealer touchpoints nationwide.
The partnership represents a significant step in GEML's strategy to strengthen its presence in the B2B segment of India's electric mobility market.
