Mahindra has refreshed both its Bolero and Bolero Neo lineups simultaneously, introducing new variants, updated features, and price reductions across the range. The parallel launches reflect the company's distinct positioning for each sub-brand, with the classic Bolero serving traditional markets and the Neo targeting urban buyers.
After 25 years and consistent annual sales of around 1 lakh units, the Bolero name now represents two different approaches to the same core promise: rugged utility at accessible prices. The classic Bolero remains focused on tier-2 and tier-3 cities, SMEs, and government institutions, while the Neo aims at tier-1 cities with styling and features that appeal to families and younger buyers.
Both lineups see notable price cuts. The classic Bolero now starts at ₹7.99 lakh for the B4 variant, down from ₹8.79 lakh. The B6 is priced at ₹8.69 lakh, while the new B8 tops out at ₹9.69 lakh. The Bolero Neo follows a similar pattern, with the N4 at ₹8.49 lakh (previously ₹8.92 lakh), N8 at ₹9.29 lakh, N10 at ₹9.79 lakh, and the new N11 flagship at ₹9.99 lakh. Reductions of up to ₹50,000 make both ranges more competitive in their respective segments.
The refreshed Bolero adds modern safety features while maintaining its utilitarian character. A new grille design and Stealth Black color option update the exterior. The B8 variant introduces diamond-cut alloy wheels, leatherette upholstery, and a 17.8 cm touchscreen with steering-mounted controls. All variants now include dual airbags, ABS, reverse parking sensors, and engine start-stop micro-hybrid technology. The foldable third-row seat and RideFlo Tech suspension carry over, maintaining the practical nature that defines the model.
The Neo update emphasizes personalization with new Jeans Blue and Concrete Grey colors, plus three dual-tone options. Interior choices include Lunar Grey and Mocha Brown themes. The new N11 variant features R16 dark metallic grey alloy wheels, a redesigned grille, a 22.8 cm touchscreen, rear-view camera, cruise control, and a height-adjustable driver seat. Base variants include 7-seat capability and essential safety features, while higher variants add comfort and connectivity options. The N10 offers an MTT transmission option.
The parallel approach allows Mahindra to serve distinct buyer groups without compromise. The classic Bolero prioritizes utility and value for traditional customers, while the Neo offers contemporary styling and features for urban buyers. Both lines now include comprehensive safety equipment and modern conveniences at price points that undercut many competitors.
With prices ranging from ₹7.99 lakh to ₹9.99 lakh, the updated Bolero range offers options for buyers seeking either a straightforward utility vehicle or a more feature-rich family SUV, both backed by the platform's established reputation for durability and longevity.
