Gainwell Trucking Private Limited has sold 320 heavy-duty mining trucks over the past six months while expanding its service network to eight new locations across India, the company announced Tuesday.

The Noida-based distributor, which serves as an authorised channel partner for BharatBenz mining trucks through Daimler India Commercial Vehicles since April 2025, now operates more than 35,000 square feet of service infrastructure. The company's active fleet stands at over 2,000 units deployed across mining and infrastructure projects.

The new service centres span Noida, Ahmedabad, Singrauli, Durgapur, Dhanbad, Jharsuguda, Anuppur, and Talcher. Two additional locations in Hazaribagh and Barbil are scheduled to open in coming months, with a flagship facility in Asansol expected to become operational this quarter.

Demand has primarily come from coal mining operations and infrastructure development projects across West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and northern states, according to the company.

Gainwell Trucking plans to add 100 employees to its current workforce of 150 professionals in 2026. The new hires will be deployed across sales, service, and support functions at the expanded locations.

"The expansion of our network and workforce underlines our long-term commitment to supporting customers with reliable equipment, faster service, and a strong on-ground presence," said Deepak Jolly, CEO and Whole Time Director at Gainwell Trucking.

Surabhi Chaturvedi, Director of Operations, said the company is focusing on building capabilities in predictive maintenance and fleet optimisation to reduce equipment downtime for customers.

Gainwell Trucking is part of the Gainwell Group, which has operated in India's mining sector for eight decades. The company provides distribution and after-sales support for mining transportation equipment.
