Frederique van Baarle assumes position on the LANXESS Board of Management

Baarle will also assume board responsibility for the Americas region from the second half of 2023.

LANXESS, the Cologne-based specialty chemicals company, has inducted Frederique van Baarle as a member of the Board of Management and Labor Director of the company. Baarle assumes responsibility effective 1 April, 2023. 

Until the end of March van Baarle headed the High-Performance Materials business unit at LANXESS, which contributed to a joint venture for high-performance plastics with private equity firm Advent on April 1.

Baarle had already been appointed by the Supervisory Board in November 2022. She will also assume board responsibility for the Americas region from the second half of 2023. She will perform her new role from Pittsburgh, LANXESS’ U.S. headquarters.
