Forsee Power appoints Joel Theut as Chief Technical and Operations Officer

Within Forsee Power, Joel’s mission will be to consolidate an agile international organisation in the countries where Forsee Power operates, optimising synergies and global flexibility.

French EV battery firm Forsee Power has appointed Joel Theut as its Chief technical and operations officer. 

Theut who joins with more than 30 years of experience in product development, management, operations and business development in the automotive and battery sectors, will lead all operations, innovation, R&D and supply chain activities at Forsee Power. 

Prior to this, he was Vice President of Operations, Quality and Health Safety Environment (HSE) at the automotive supplier Webasto for the Asia-Pacific region. 

While leading the post-merger integration of a joint venture acquired in South Korea, he was responsible for the establishment, development, industrialisation and launch of several vehicle battery assembly plants in South Korea. Additionally, Joel had overall responsibility for regional operations, quality, health and safety, including the construction and ramp-up of other industrial sites in China, Japan, South Korea, in India and Thailand.

“With my strong international experience, I am aware of the critical issues shaping the electromobility industry, particularly in terms of performance, industrialisation, and carbon footprint reduction. I look forward to contributing to Forsee Power’s operational excellence and our mission to build a more sustainable future for as many territories as possible,” said Joel Theut.
