Force Motors Limited, a prominent manufacturer of commercial and specialty vehicles in India, has been awarded a contract by the Uttar Pradesh Government Health Department to supply 2,429 ambulances.

The Force Traveller Ambulance, widely used across the country, has been chosen for its suitability for emergency medical transportation. Designed to cater to various healthcare needs, the ambulance is available in configurations such as Patient Transport, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Mobile Medical Units (MMU). Its design prioritizes patient safety, comfort during transit, and efficient use of space for medical equipment. The vehicle is also built to handle the challenges posed by India’s diverse road conditions.

Force Motors ambulances are equipped with reliable driveline systems aimed at minimizing patient transportation time, which is crucial during emergencies. With a strong presence in the Indian ambulance market, the company has supplied vehicles to various stakeholders, including government health departments, private healthcare providers, and non-governmental organizations.

The Uttar Pradesh Government Health Department’s decision to procure these ambulances is part of an effort to strengthen the state’s healthcare infrastructure. The ambulances will enhance emergency response services and facilitate timely medical assistance for residents in both urban and rural areas.

Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors Limited, commented on the development, stating, “We are honored to collaborate with the Uttar Pradesh Government Health Department on this initiative. This partnership highlights our focus on providing dependable solutions tailored to India’s healthcare requirements.”
