Force Motors reported a 62% year-on-year increase in domestic sales to 3,721 units in August 2026, compared with 2,295 units in the same month last year.
The company attributed the growth to demand across its vehicle portfolio. Force Motors recently introduced the Traveller N and Urbania Deluxe, with the company saying volumes of both models have stabilised following their initial production scale-up.
The Traveller N builds on the company’s Traveller platform, while the Urbania Deluxe is positioned in the premium shared mobility segment. Force Motors said the two models have received an encouraging response from customers.
“The strong growth in August is encouraging and reflects the positive response we are seeing across our portfolio. The recent introduction of the Traveller N and Urbania Deluxe has further strengthened our product offering, and we are pleased with the response from our customers,” said Prasan Firodia, managing director, Force Motors.
The company said it would continue to focus on customer requirements and product improvements as it builds on the recent sales momentum.
Force Motors manufactures light commercial vehicles, multi-utility vehicles, passenger vehicles and automotive components. Its product portfolio includes the Traveller N and Trax ranges, Urbania, Traveller Monobus and Gurkha.
The company operates five manufacturing facilities in India and has an R&D centre in Pune. It exports vehicles to more than 25 countries across regions including the Middle East and Gulf, Asia, Latin America and Africa.
