Force Motors has partnered with Rosmerta Auto Recycling Pvt Ltd to facilitate authorised scrappage of eligible end-of-life vehicles in Delhi-NCR. The initiative is intended to improve customer access to organised vehicle disposal and material recovery facilities.

The partnership builds on a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by Force Motors with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) to support the Commercial Vehicle Replacement Scheme in the region. The company plans to explore similar arrangements in other parts of India.

Under the arrangement, eligible Force Motors customers will be able to access Rosmerta’s Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF). The facility will handle vehicle documentation, depollution and dismantling, alongside the segregation and recovery of recyclable materials.

Customers will also receive relevant scrappage documentation, including a Certificate of Deposit, wherever applicable.

Force Motors To Expand Access To Authorised Scrappage

The initiative focuses on providing customers with access to organised channels for retiring end-of-life vehicles. Authorised scrappage facilities process vehicles through designated disposal and dismantling procedures and facilitate the recovery of recyclable automotive materials.

Force Motors said the initiative forms part of its efforts to extend resource-efficiency measures beyond vehicle manufacturing and operation to the end of a vehicle’s lifecycle.

Commenting on the partnership, Prasan Firodia, managing director of Force Motors, said the company intends to encourage responsible vehicle disposal and material recovery by making authorised scrappage channels more accessible to customers.

The company will initially focus on Delhi-NCR before assessing opportunities to extend the arrangement to other regions.
