Flying Flea to Open First Flagship Store in Paris

Flying Flea, Royal Enfield's electric mobility brand, will open its first company-operated flagship store in Paris in early 2026, the company announced during Paris Design Week. The announcement came as part of a collaboration with École Duperré design school, where artists and students created interpretations of the brand's "Live Lightly" philosophy.

The Paris location marks Flying Flea's entry into European retail operations. Mario Alvisi, Chief Growth Officer at Flying Flea and Royal Enfield Electric Vehicles, said the choice reflects both historical significance and market opportunity.

"France is where the original Flying Flea motorcycle played a pivotal role during World War II, and today, Paris stands not only as a global epicenter of design and culture but also is one of Europe's most dynamic two wheeler EV markets," Alvisi said. "This beautiful city represents not only our past but also our future. Therefore we are excited to announce the opening of our first company operated flagship store here in Paris, with this being our first step towards cementing our long term commitment to the city and its people."

The Paris Design Week event featured installations by École Duperré student Sarah Bouyssou, live art demonstrations, and masterclasses led by Flying Flea's design team, including Alvisi and Head Industrial Designer Sivakumar S. A panel discussion and evening reception were held on the school's rooftop.

Flying Flea plans to launch two electric motorcycle models by early 2026: the classic-styled FF.C6 and the scrambler-styled FF.S6. The brand operates with over 200 engineers across the UK and India, developing proprietary motor, battery, and software technologies. The company has filed more than 45 patent applications and established manufacturing operations at Royal Enfield's Vallam Vadagal facility.

The original Flying Flea motorcycle was designed in 1940 for paratrooper deployment during World War II. The modern electric brand draws inspiration from that heritage while targeting urban mobility markets.
