Fiem Industries CEO Vineet Sahni Steps Down

The senior executive resigns after three years in the role.

Fiem Industries Limited announced on May 19 that Vineet Sahni has resigned from his position as Chief Executive Officer and Whole time Director of the company. The automotive lighting and component manufacturer confirmed the leadership change through a regulatory filing submitted to the stock exchanges.

In his formal resignation letter addressed to the board of directors, Sahni cited personal reasons and a decision to pursue other interests as the primary factors for his departure. The outgoing executive explicitly confirmed in the regulatory document that there were no other underlying reasons prompting his decision to step down from the leadership role. He also expressed gratitude to the board and shareholders for approving his recent reappointment for a second term.

Sahni stated that he has already handed over the majority of his responsibilities to ensure a smooth transition of leadership operations. He has requested an early release from his duties at the firm. The formal resignation will be placed before the board of directors during their forthcoming meeting for final approval and to determine the exact timeline for his relieving.

Sahni is a long-serving member of the automotive industry, working at companies such as Uno Minda, Varroc Engineering and Lumax Industries fulfilling various roles. Sahni joined Fiem Industries in May 2023 helped the company achieve record growth. In March 2026, shareholders of FIEM had voted to extend Sahni's tenure for another three years effective May 1, 2026, with an overall approval rate of 99.85%.
