FICCI and IESA forge strategic alliance to advance India's semiconductor and electronics industry

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This initiative establishes a framework for sustained cooperation between the two entities.

The primary objectives of this partnership include promoting innovation, bolstering the semiconductor and electronics industry, and fortifying supply chains. 

S K Pathak, Secretary General of FICCI, stated, "This collaboration will work on setting up a joint task force on semiconductor and critical technologies of the future. Conducting technology consultative roundtables and fostering business partnerships would be the core objective of this MoU."

Ashok Chandak, President of IESA, expressed, “This strategic partnership with FICCI is a momentous step in our journey in transforming India into a global hub for electronics design and manufacturing.”
