Exicom, a leading manufacturer of EV charging and critical power solutions, has entered into a strategic partnership with IONAGE, an EV charging software platform provider, to develop a unified and accessible EV charging ecosystem in India. The collaboration aims to enhance charger discoverability, accessibility, and management, addressing the growing demand for efficient EV charging infrastructure as the country moves toward its 30% electric vehicle (EV) penetration target by 2030.

With India’s EV market expanding, the need for a streamlined approach to locating and managing charging stations has become increasingly important. Exicom, which has deployed 1.75 lakh chargers nationwide, will integrate its EV charging solutions with IONAGE’s charge management system (CMS) platform. This integration is expected to provide a common framework for different charging networks, improving operational efficiency and simplifying the user experience.

Under the partnership, charge point operators (CPOs), fleet operators, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and real estate developers will gain access to an optimized charging infrastructure featuring real-time insights, remote diagnostics, and predictive maintenance. These capabilities are designed to improve charger uptime, reduce operational costs, and enable scalable deployment, supporting the expansion of the EV charging network.

The collaboration also aims to simplify EV charging for businesses and individual users by combining Exicom’s hardware expertise with IONAGE’s software solutions. The integrated platform will offer a user-friendly charging experience with minimal setup requirements, making it easier for fleets, dealerships, and home users to access and manage their charging needs efficiently.
