EVeium Smart Mobility, the electric two-wheeler brand from Ellysium Automotives, has announced a shift towards deeper localisation in its manufacturing process. This move is aimed at reducing production costs and making its premium electric scooters more affordable for Indian consumers.

The company’s flagship models—Cosmo, Comet, and Czar—are being reintroduced with refreshed styling and feature upgrades. With a larger portion of components now being produced within India, EVeium is focusing on optimising its supply chain and production ecosystem to deliver cost benefits without altering the core product quality.

This development aligns with India’s push for self-reliance in clean mobility and is expected to enhance quality control, reduce turnaround time for updates, and create stronger value for customers.

Sameer Moidin, Founder & CEO of EVeium Smart Mobility, stated that the brand’s localisation strategy is intended to improve accessibility to electric mobility while maintaining the design, safety, and performance standards expected from premium EVs.

EVeium Smart Mobility is a two-wheeler electric vehicle brand under Ellysium Automotives. The company focuses on developing durable and safe electric scooters, supported by smart battery technology and increasing use of domestically produced components.
