Euler Motors, an electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, and Jio-bp, the operating brand of Reliance BP Mobility Limited, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to expand EV charging infrastructure for commercial electric vehicles in India.

The agreement, formalized on February 6, 2026, was signed by Jio-bp Head of Electric Mobility Rubin Pather and Euler Motors Global Head of Customer Excellence Ashish Tandon. The partnership focuses on deploying charging infrastructure at logistics hubs to support fleet operators transitioning to electric vehicles.

Under the MoU, both companies will identify business hubs with high commercial EV charging demand and facilitate customer engagements. Euler Motors will connect Jio-bp with fleet customers interested in hosting charging stations, while Jio-bp will leverage its Trans-Connect platform to introduce Euler Motors to its customer base.

The collaboration comes as Euler Motors scales deployment of its recently launched Euler TURBO EV 1000 Fast Charge and Euler Storm EV Fast Charge models. Jio-bp currently operates nearly 7,000 charge points across more than 1,000 locations in India, including the country's first 480 kW charger with liquid-cooled technology.

Jio-bp Chairman Sarthak Behuria stated that the partnership represents a commitment to accelerating the electrification of commercial logistics. "By combining Jio-bp's growing EV charging ecosystem with Euler Motors' purpose-built electric cargo vehicles, we aim to support India's evolving mobility needs while contributing meaningfully to the country's low-carbon future," he said.

Jio-bp CEO Akshay Wadhwa emphasized the focus on operational reliability for commercial fleets. "Our collaboration with Euler Motors allows us to align Jio-bp pulse charging infrastructure with specialized electric cargo mobility solutions that are rapidly scaling across urban logistics," he noted.

Ashish Tandon from Euler Motors stated that the MoU addresses key challenges of charging accessibility for commercial EVs. Gaurav Kumar, Director on Euler Motors' board, highlighted that access to fast, reliable charging at logistics hubs directly impacts fleet uptime and operating economics.

The partnership is designed to strengthen India's EV ecosystem by ensuring targeted deployment of charging infrastructure where commercial demand is highest, supporting the country's clean mobility objectives.

Reliance BP Mobility Limited operates under the brand Jio-bp, a joint venture between Reliance Industries Limited and bp. The company provides fuels, lubricants, and advanced mobility solutions including EV charging, compressed biogas, and aviation fuel through its air bp-Jio brand.

Founded in 2018, Euler Motors is a Delhi-based automotive OEM specializing in electric commercial vehicles for cargo delivery. The company manufactures EVs for retail and institutional customers and has received recognition including the Apollo Awards in 2022.
