Escorts Kubota Launches New BLX 75 Backhoe Loader under E-Kubota Brand in India

Escorts Kubota Limited has announced the commercial launch of its latest construction equipment product, the BLX 75 backhoe loader, under the E-Kubota brand. The product was officially introduced to the Indian market today and will cater exclusively to domestic earthmoving operations. The BLX 75 is positioned as a versatile machine intended to enhance efficiency and productivity in earthmoving tasks across various applications.

According to the disclosure submitted to the BSE and NSE, the new product is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its product offerings under the E-Kubota branding. Escorts Kubota has confirmed that the BLX 75 will not be introduced in international markets at this stage.

Escorts Kubota Limited is a diversified engineering company based in Faridabad, Haryana, India. Originally established in 1944 as Escorts Limited, the company underwent a rebranding in June 2022 following an increased equity investment by Japan’s Kubota Corporation. Today, it operates across key sectors including agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and railway systems.

The company manufactures a range of tractors under the Farmtrac, Powertrac, and Steeltrac brands, developed to suit various agricultural requirements. In the construction equipment segment, Escorts Kubota produces machines such as backhoe loaders, cranes, and compactors. Escorts Kubota has production facilities located in Faridabad and a global presence that includes a manufacturing unit in Mrągowo, Poland. The company's leadership includes Chairman and Managing Director Nikhil Nanda, along with Deputy Managing Director Seizi Fukuoka. As of 2024, the company has a workforce of over 14,500 employees.

The organization places emphasis on innovation and product development through its Knowledge Management Centre, which was set up in 1976. This center supports the company's research and development efforts, especially in agricultural machinery.
