EnerG Lubricants and GAT GmbH launch high-performance automotive additives in India 

The ENERG G1 Xtreme PLUS 5W30 API SP - ACEA C3 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil, a high-performance lubricant that has received global approval from Mercedes-Benz was launched at the event.

EnerG Lubricants, in partnership with Germany’s GAT GmbH, has launched its GAT X EnerG product line. The new range of high-performance automotive consumables includes fuel system cleaners, engine care, car care, body care, and car detailing products. 

Among the unveiled products were GAT EnerG G1 Engine Flush, GAT EnerG G1 Engine Oil Booster, GAT EnerG G1 Diesel Engine Cleaner, and GAT EnerG G1 Octane Boosters.

A major highlight of the event was the launch of the ENERG G1 Xtreme PLUS 5W30 API SP - ACEA C3 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil, a lubricant globally approved by Mercedes-Benz. This product is the first in India to achieve both MB 229.51 and MB 229.52 certifications, setting new benchmarks in fuel efficiency, emissions control, and engine longevity.

Designed with German engineering and optimised for Indian vehicles, it offers enhanced engine performance and durability. This engine oil, showcased in packaging prototypes, sets new standards in fuel efficiency, emissions control, and long-lasting engine protection, the company said.

The event also featured prominent dignitaries from GAT GmbH, including Dr Gaby Urban (CEO), Julian Esefeld (Key Account Manager), and Dr Cai Kasten (Director of Research and Development). Beyond business, it believes its products can contribute positively to India's sustainability goals, helping reduce emissions and improve fuel efficiency while delivering high-performance results.

The collaboration marks the debut of German-engineered automotive consumables designed to meet the unique demands of the Indian automotive market.
