Endurance Technologies Q2 Net Profit Rises 21 Percent to Rs 274 Crore
The automotive component manufacturer posts higher quarterly earnings despite increased raw material and operating expenses.
Endurance Technologies recorded a 20.7 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit after tax to Rs 274.29 crore for Q2 FY27, compared to Rs 227.27 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Sequentially, net profit expanded 12.2 percent from Rs 244.52 crore recorded in Q1 FY27. The growth in quarterly profit was driven by expanded operational throughput, which offset higher input material costs and increased operating expenditure.
Consolidated revenue from operations for Q2 FY27 reached Rs 4,786.18 crore, up 33.6 percent year-on-year from Rs 3,582.82 crore in Q2 FY26, and grew 10.9 percent sequentially over Rs 4,314.89 crore in Q1 FY27.
Total consolidated expenses grew 36.1 percent year-on-year to Rs 4,490.52 crore against Rs 3,299.66 crore in the year-ago quarter, impacted primarily by a 51.5 percent rise in cost of materials consumed to Rs 3,136.31 crore from Rs 2,069.66 crore. Sequentially, total expenses rose 11.8 percent from Rs 4,018.20 crore in the preceding quarter.
On a standalone basis, the company reported revenue from operations of Rs 3,752.73 crore and a net profit after tax of Rs 213.48 crore for Q2 FY27, compared to Rs 2,678.22 crore and Rs 187.58 crore respectively in Q2 FY26. Standalone total expenses stood at Rs 3,473.40 crore compared to Rs 2,440.47 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Auditors highlighted exceptional gains and operational adjustments involving overseas subsidiaries, including an exceptional gain of Rs 35.63 crore following the derecognition of a deferred consideration liability as step-down subsidiary Endurance Overseas increased its shareholding in Germany-based Stöferle entities from 68 percent to 100 percent.
