Endurance Technologies Limited has accepted the separation of 57 permanent workmen under its Voluntary Separation Scheme (VSS) at its plant in Waluj, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, Maharashtra, according to a regulatory filing today.

The company will make a payout of approximately Rs. 106.35 million to implement the scheme at its L-6/3 (LPDC) plant located in the MIDC Industrial Area in Waluj.

In its communication to stock exchanges, Endurance Technologies stated that the VSS is intended to "right-size the plant in line with the production volumes." This suggests the company is adjusting its workforce to match current production requirements.

The latest update follows the company's previous communications on the same subject dated February 10 and March 1, 2025, indicating this is part of an ongoing workforce restructuring initiative.

Endurance Technologies, headquartered in Pune, is a leading auto component manufacturer specializing in aluminum die casting, suspensions, transmissions, and braking systems. The company supplies components to various automotive manufacturers in India and European markets.

The announcement comes at a time when several manufacturing companies in India are reassessing their workforce requirements amid changing market demands and technological shifts in the automotive sector.
