EMotorad’s manufacturing arm, Dynem, has commenced the export of India-made electric bicycles to the United States, marking a step forward in the company’s international business expansion. The first shipments began this July, with Dynem already partnering with 8 to 10 US-based customers and dispatching multiple containers each month.

The company reports an active order pipeline of over 10,000 units and is targeting annual exports exceeding 20,000 units. Production is carried out at the Dynem Giga Factory, which meets international standards including ISO, SEDEX, and SCAN compliance. The exported e-bikes are built to align with US regulations and include high-performance components such as batteries rated up to 750W.

According to Rajib Gangopadhyay, Managing Director of EMotorad, the US market was a primary focus during the planning of the Dynem facility. He noted that current global trade shifts and rising demand for electric mobility create a suitable environment for growth in the US.

Dynem functions mainly as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for global e-bike brands and is also working with distributors to introduce EMotorad-branded e-bikes in the US market.

The development supports India’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, with EMotorad emerging as one of the early Indian companies exporting e-bikes at this volume. The company estimates that its US operations could generate an annual recurring revenue of approximately $10 million.
