EMO Energy and Revamp Moto announced a partnership to deploy 5,000 low-speed electric two-wheelers for last-mile delivery operations across India. The companies said an initial order of 1,000 scooters will be rolled out over the next two months.
The deployment combines Revamp Moto's delivery-focused vehicle platform with EMO Energy's liquid-cooled ZenPac battery, an AI-based battery management system, and a fast-charging ecosystem built for commercial fleets operating at high utilisation.
The scooters are capped at a top speed of 25 kmph and are powered by EMO Energy's 2 kWh ZenPac battery, which the company says delivers a real-world range of up to 90 kilometres. The battery can be fast-charged in approximately 20 minutes using EMO's Swft charger, which the companies say allows for quicker turnaround and more daily uptime for delivery fleets.
According to the companies, the 25 kmph speed limit is suited to dense urban delivery routes, balancing rider safety with operational efficiency. EMO's battery management system is designed to continuously monitor battery health and provide fleet operators with data on performance and degradation over time.
In addition to the battery and charger, EMO's NEXO platform is intended to manage charging infrastructure and operations at dark store locations, providing fleet operators with a centralized energy management system at the point of use.
EMO Energy said its ZenPac battery has logged more than 150 million kilometres of operation, with degradation of approximately 1.2% at 300 cycles and under 2% beyond 400 cycles. The battery system uses active immersion cooling, an AI-driven energy management system, and active cell balancing, and is backed by 25 patents, according to the company. EMO Energy currently operates more than 1,500 fast chargers across over 12 cities in India.
Founded in 2022 by Sheetanshu Tyagi and Rahul Patel, EMO Energy is an energy-technology company focused on accelerating EV adoption and decarbonizing urban energy systems. Its proprietary ZEN technology stack supports 20-minute fast charging, fireproof battery design, and more than 3,000 charging cycles. The company's battery systems are used in commercial EVs and large-scale energy storage applications across multiple industries.
