EMO Energy, an Indian energy-technology company that builds battery and energy management systems for commercial electric mobility, has released its operational figures for the first quarter, covering April to June 2026.
18.74 Million Deliveries and 2,810 MWh: Q1 by the Numbers
According to the company, its platform delivered 2,810.7 MWh of energy across its network during the quarter, with monthly energy delivery rising 20.3% between April and June. EMO Energy said its technology supported 18.74 million EV deliveries nationwide and powered 93.69 million kilometres of travel.
Fleet Grows to 19,000 Vehicles; 5,800 Tonnes of CO₂e emissions Avoided
The company's active fleet grew from 15,800 vehicles in April to 19,000 vehicles by June, which it attributed to continued uptake of its battery and energy management solutions among commercial EV operators.
EMO Energy estimated that its Q1 operations helped avoid 5,809 tonnes of CO₂e emissions, a figure it compared to the annual carbon absorption capacity of more than 275,000 trees.
ZEN Technology and the Road Ahead
Sheetanshu Tyagi, co-founder of EMO Energy, said the quarter's performance showed that combining battery intelligence, thermal management and fleet-level energy orchestration could deliver both operational efficiency and environmental impact. He added that the company intends to expand its technology into new energy applications as commercial EV adoption grows.
EMO Energy was founded in 2022 by Tyagi and Rahul Patel. The company's proprietary technology stack, ZEN, is designed to enable 20-minute fast charging, fireproof battery designs, and more than 4,000 charging cycles. Its battery systems are used in commercial EVs and large-scale energy storage applications across several industries.
