EKA Mobility has announced the expansion of its authorised dealer network as it looks to strengthen its presence in India's commercial electric vehicle market and improve support infrastructure for last-mile mobility solutions. The company currently operates 60 dealerships across 15 states and plans to add more than 30 exclusive outlets in the near term.
The expansion is aimed at addressing challenges related to EV adoption, particularly access to sales and after-sales support infrastructure. EKA said the network is being developed around logistics corridors, urban centres and emerging Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, with a focus on sectors including e-commerce, FMCG distribution, logistics and public transport.
According to the company, each dealership will include dedicated service facilities with at least two service bays, trained personnel and spare parts availability intended to support fleet operators and reduce vehicle downtime.
"Last-mile connectivity is at the heart of India’s mobility transformation. As demand for electric commercial vehicles grows, it is important that customers have easy access not just to products, but also to dependable service and long-term support," said Rohit Srivastava, Business Head and Chief Growth Officer, EKA Mobility.
The company said it plans to scale its network to more than 200 dealerships across over 20 states by FY27. Alongside its dealership expansion, EKA offers a range of electric commercial vehicles spanning three-wheelers, small commercial vehicles, buses and trucks, supported by its EKA Connect fleet management platform.
EKA also stated that it is developing a 47-acre manufacturing facility at Pithampur. Combined with its existing facilities, the company said its annual production capacity is expected to reach 15,000 buses, 24,000 small commercial vehicles and 4,000 trucks.
