Eicher Motors Reports 15.5% Revenue Growth, Net Profit Rises 18.3% in FY 2024-25

The motorcycle and commercial vehicle manufacturer posted annual revenue of ₹18,978.38 crores with net profit reaching ₹4,734.44 crores, showing strong financial performance despite market challenges.

Eicher Motors Limited has announced a significant increase in its financial performance for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025. The company reported a 15.5% growth in revenue from operations, reaching ₹18,978.38 crores compared to ₹16,432.78 crores in the previous fiscal year.

The Delhi-headquartered automobile manufacturer's net profit after tax rose to ₹4,734.44 crores, marking an 18.3% increase from the ₹4,001.01 crores recorded in FY 2023-24. The company's consolidated financial results also showed a substantial improvement in earnings per share, which climbed to ₹172.76 from ₹146.18 in the previous year.

Total expenses for the year stood at ₹14,541.99 crores, up from ₹12,487.35 crores, with the cost of raw materials and components consumed increasing to ₹9,953.36 crores. Despite rising input costs, the company managed to improve its profit margins through operational efficiencies.

The balance sheet strengthened with total assets growing to ₹27,174.41 crores as of March 31, 2025, compared to ₹23,127.93 crores a year earlier. Cash and cash equivalents more than doubled to ₹218.96 crores from ₹98.39 crores at the end of the previous fiscal year, indicating improved liquidity.

Eicher Motors, known for its Royal Enfield motorcycles and commercial vehicles produced through a joint venture with Volvo, has continued to expand its market presence despite challenging economic conditions. The company's investment in joint ventures stands at ₹3,140.85 crores, showing its commitment to strategic partnerships.

The strong financial performance comes amid fluctuating demand in the automotive sector and ongoing supply chain challenges. The company has been focusing on product innovation and market expansion to drive growth, particularly in its motorcycle division which has seen increased demand in both domestic and international markets.

Founded in 1948, Eicher Motors has established itself as a significant player in India's automotive industry. The company operates manufacturing facilities in Gurugram, Haryana, and has been gradually expanding its international footprint in recent years.
