Eicher Inaugurates 11th Regional Competence Development Centre in Murthal
Commercial vehicle maker partners with DCRUST to train 150 engineering students annually and support 50 regional dealerships.
Eicher Trucks and Buses has established its 11th Regional Competence Development Centre at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology in Murthal, Haryana. The facility was inaugurated in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and senior university and company officials.
Spread across 7,900 sq. ft., the center is designed as a technical learning hub equipped with dynamic driveline models, engine sections, diagnostic laboratories, a vehicle inspection pit, and VECV's Training on Wheels mobile unit. The facility will train approximately 150 DCRUST engineering students each year across mechanical, electrical, and agricultural streams, while also supporting skill development for technical staff across nearly 50 Eicher dealerships in Delhi-NCR, Haryana, and Western Uttar Pradesh.
"At Eicher, we believe the future of the commercial vehicle industry will be shaped as much by skilled people as by advanced technologies. Through this collaboration, we are creating a strong foundation for future-ready talent and contributing to a resilient mobility ecosystem," said S S Gill, Chief Commercial Officer at VE Commercial Vehicles.
