Edel Assurance announced that it has expanded its extended warranty coverage across India's luxury automotive segment, offering post-manufacturer warranty protection for mechanical and electrical components in high-end passenger vehicles.
The company's extended warranty policies cater to luxury brands including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Range Rover, routing all component repairs and replacements through authorized manufacturer workshops.
The specialist warranty provider offers policy terms ranging from three to ten years, with annual premiums structured according to vehicle segment. Unlike standard motor insurance policies that cover accident damage, extended warranties focus on component failures resulting from routine mechanical or electrical wear.
Sujeet Nair, Founder and CEO of Edel Assurance, said, "When customers purchase a premium vehicle, they are investing in technology, engineering and an ownership experience. Our role is to provide an added layer of assurance once the manufacturer warranty comes to an end."
