Ecofuel Expands into Heavy Vehicles to Promote Sustainable Transport
Ecofuel’s solutions aim to improve fuel efficiency and reduce operating costs for fleet operators.
Ecofuel, a sustainable fuel solutions provider, announced its expansion into the heavy vehicle market. The company, which has focused on passenger vehicles, is now working to introduce cleaner and more efficient fuel technology for heavy vehicle operators.
Ecofuel's technology will support the use of CNG, LNG, and bio-CNG as fuel alternatives, aiming to lower operational costs and carbon emissions.
“Expanding into the heavy vehicle sector aligns with our mission to promote cleaner fuel solutions. Our advanced technology not only reduces emissions but also helps fleet operators lower running costs,” said Virendra Vora, Founder and Chairman of Eco Fuel Systems.
Beyond emission reduction, Ecofuel’s solutions aim to improve fuel efficiency and reduce operating costs for fleet operators. The company remains focused on working with industry stakeholders to refine its solutions for current and future transportation needs.
Ecofuel has sold 1 million Lovato kits in India and installed over 400,000 sequential kits. It has operated in India for 21 years and has built a nationwide after-sales and service network. The company ensures compliance with European standards and BS-VI certifications.
It has also received an order from Varanasi Nagar Nigam/MECON for the conversion of diesel boats to CNG under the Ganga Cleanliness Project.
Ecofuel has installed CNG sequential kits for OLA and Meru Cabs. It has converted over 100 diesel heavy vehicles of Reliance Industries to CNG. The company is also executing an order for the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) in Mumbai for the conversion of diesel buses to CNG.
Established in 2003, Mumbai-based Eco Fuel Systems (I) Pvt. Ltd. specializes in CNG and LPG vehicle conversion. The company is the sole importer and distributor of Lovato Gas SpA kits, a brand of Landi Renzo, a multinational company in alternative fuel technologies.
With over 1 million kits sold and a strong after-sales network, Eco Fuel Systems provides fuel solutions for two-wheelers, cars, three-wheelers, boats, and commercial vehicles. Its products comply with European standards and Indian automotive regulations.
