Eaton showcases solutions for hazardous areas at Automation Expo 2024
Intelligent power management company Eaton presents its Crouse-Hinds series solutions at Mumbai's Automation Expo 2024. Highlighting 25 years in India, Eaton demonstrates innovations in surge protection, LED lighting, and CCTV technology.
Eaton, a power management company, said it will showcase its latest offerings, including surge protection, LED lighting, and closed-circuit television (CCTV), at Automation Expo 2024 at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai from August 21st to 24th, 2024.
Philipose Jacob, Country Director for India at Eaton Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, Oil and Gas, commented on the company's presence at the expo. He highlighted Eaton's focus on technological innovation and its efforts to address complex power management challenges across various industries. Jacob noted the Crouse-Hinds series' 125-year legacy in explosion-protected solutions and emphasised Eaton's 25 years of operations in India, including local manufacturing capabilities that serve both Indian and global markets.
At the Automation Expo, Eaton is presenting several innovations. The Hart over Ethernet multiplexer integrates HART protocol with Eaton's technology to deliver process data from field devices to asset management software. The EPIK Series Explosion Protected PTZ Camera is designed for hazardous environments, featuring a carbon-reinforced polymer build.
The GECMA IS 10.1" Tablet PC is also designed for hazardous environments, offering a powerful processor and flexible connectivity options. The MEDC XB15M Metallic Xenon Beacon is presented as a reliable signaling device for harsh environments, with ATEX and IECEx certification.
Eaton is also showcasing its surge protection devices for the renewable power sector, including solar, wind, and hydrogen infrastructures. The company is introducing its digital Hydrogen Scope of Supply tool at the expo, demonstrating its commitment to safety in hydrogen applications.
The company provides background information about its founding in 1911, its listing on the New York Stock Exchange, and its reported revenues of $23.2 billion in 2023. Eaton states that it serves customers in more than 160 countries and is dedicated to protecting the environment and improving quality of life through its power management solutions.
