DriveX Launches End-to-End RTO Services in Bengaluru and Chennai

DriveX, a pre-owned two-wheeler platform, has launched a comprehensive Regional Transport Office (RTO) services offering in Bengaluru and Chennai, aimed at consolidating vehicle registration and documentation processes onto a single platform.

The company said the move is intended to reduce the paperwork and administrative steps typically involved in RTO procedures, which often require multiple visits and follow-ups. Under the new service, DriveX manages the process end-to-end, from document verification and application filing to status tracking and completion.

The offering covers services including Registration Certificate (RC) Transfer, Ownership Transfer, and Hypothecation (HP) Addition and Termination, among other vehicle record updates. Customers can submit requests online, after which DriveX's documentation team handles the process on their behalf.

According to the company, the customer journey involves four steps: selecting the required RTO service, sharing vehicle and document details, having the DriveX team coordinate with the relevant authorities, and receiving the updated Registration Certificate once the process is complete. DriveX said customers are kept informed through status updates during the process, and that the service is offered at nominal charges.

The launch adds to DriveX's existing offerings, which include certified pre-owned two-wheelers, financing and EMI options, warranty-backed ownership, and after-sales support.

DriveX said its RTO services are handled by documentation professionals tasked with ensuring regulatory compliance while minimising delays, as part of the company's broader push to offer end-to-end vehicle ownership solutions beyond the point of sale.
