Citroën India expands network to 145 touchpoints, aims for 200 by year-end
Citroën India announces significant progress in its network expansion, adding 15 new showrooms and 7 workshops across the country. The brand targets 200 touchpoints by December 2024.
Citroën India has added 15 new showrooms in various cities including Jodhpur, Ranchi, Jalandhar, Hisar, Indore, Delhi, Karimnagar, Salem, Bangalore, Malapuram, Belgaum, Nanded, Sangli, Thanjavur, and Kundli. Additionally, 7 new workshops have been established in Jodhpur, Ranchi, Jalandhar, Hisar, Indore, Salem, and Bangalore. This expansion increases Citroën's total touchpoints in India to 145.
The growth is attributed to Citroën's Network Expansion Program (NEP), launched in March 2024, with the goal of reaching 200 sales and service touchpoints by the end of the year. The company plans to add 12 new showrooms and 8 new workshops in the next two months, having already issued Letters of Intent to dealers in key locations.
Shishir Mishra, Brand Director of Citroën India, stated that the expansion aims to ensure a Citroën touchpoint is within 100 kilometers of every customer, providing service and support nationwide.
The L'Atelier Citroën aftersales network currently operates over 60 service centers, with plans to expand to 100 by the end of the year and 150 by 2025. The network employs Citroën Certified Trained Technicians and staff, ensuring genuine parts availability and value-added products with Citroën-approved infrastructure, tools, and equipment. Some locations also offer Service On Wheels for common repairs at customers' doorsteps.
Citroën operates 25 Stellantis Brand House facilities, offering a range of SUVs under one roof. The most recent facility opened in July 2024 in Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. This network expansion underlines Citroën's focus on providing a comprehensive and customer-oriented service experience in the Indian market.
