Citroën India launches new Aircross SUV

Citroën India has introduced the new version of its popular Aircross SUV, bringing a range of updates to its design, safety, and technology features. The new Aircross aims to cater to the evolving needs of Indian consumers, offering a blend of practicality, comfort, and advanced technology.

Shishir Mishra, Brand Head of Citroën India, highlighted the improvements, stating, "The Aircross SUV has been appreciated for its ride quality and comfort since its introduction. The updated Aircross builds on that foundation, incorporating a unique identity while focusing on advanced comfort, safety, and technology."

The 2024 Aircross features six airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchors for enhanced safety. It also includes LED projector headlamps for better visibility, automatic climate control, and power-folding ORVMs. Interior updates include a soft-touch instrument panel, power window switches on the doors, grab handles, and a rear AC vent, contributing to a more refined driving experience.

Under the hood, the Aircross offers two engine options: a 1.2L Gen 3 PURETECH 110 turbo and the PURETECH 82 Naturally Aspirated engines, delivering up to 110ps and 205Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, and 6-speed automatic. The SUV is available in both 5-seater and 5+2 seating configurations.

With over 40 advanced safety features, including electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and hill-hold assist, the Aircross is designed to provide a confident driving experience. It also boasts the highest boot space in its segment at 511 litres (with the third row removed) and comes equipped with Citroën's advanced suspension system for improved ride comfort.

Additional features include a 10.25-inch infotainment system, the MyCitroën Connect app with 40 connectivity features, and over 70 customizable accessories, making it a versatile choice for Indian SUV buyers.

The new Citroën Aircross 5-seater variant is available across a range of pricing options, starting with the 1.2 NA YOU model, priced at Rs 8.49 lakh. The 1.2 NA PLUS variant is offered at Rs 9.99 lakh. Moving up, the 1.2 TURBO PLUS is priced at Rs 11.95 lakh, while the 1.2 TURBO AT PLUS is available for Rs 13.25 lakh. The 1.2 TURBO MAX variant comes at Rs 12.7 lakh, and the top-end 1.2 TURBO AT MAX is priced at Rs 13.99 lakh.
