CIE Automotive India Revenue, Profit Decline in Q4

CIE Automotive India Limited (formerly known as Mahindra CIE Automotive Limited) reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹2,272.63 crores for Q4FY25, representing a 6.3% decline compared to ₹2,426.80 crores in Q4FY24. Despite the revenue dip, the company managed to contain the impact on profitability.

The company's profit after tax stood at ₹206.40 crores in Q4, compared to ₹230.48 crores in the same quarter last year, marking a 10.4% decrease year-on-year.

Total income decreased by 6.8% to ₹2,308.76 crores from ₹2,478.12 crores in Q1 2024, with India operations showing a modest 2.7% growth to ₹1,466.26 crores while European operations declined significantly by 19.3% to ₹806.85 crores. This regional disparity impacted overall profitability, with segment profits before tax and interest decreasing by 12.3% to ₹286.23 crores and earnings per share from continuing operations falling by 10.5% to ₹5.43 compared to ₹6.07 in the same quarter last year.
