EV charging network operator CHARGEZONE has expanded its collaboration with Ador-Quench (Quench Chargers) to deploy Made-in-India DC fast-charging infrastructure across 1,000 new charging locations in India. The deployment will include chargers ranging from 120kW units to 480kW dispenser systems.
The expansion is part of CHARGEZONE's plan to achieve 300MW of cumulative network capacity, with a focus on commercial vehicle fleets, intercity mobility and passenger electric vehicles. The charging systems will be based on a modular 30kW AC-DC converter architecture, allowing configurations from 30kW to 480kW.
The partnership will cover charging requirements across electric cars, buses and commercial trucks. CHARGEZONE said the deployment would prioritise commercial mobility applications, where charging speed and infrastructure uptime influence fleet utilisation and operating costs.
The 360kW and 480kW dispenser systems are designed for electric buses, trucks and commercial fleets operating on fixed schedules. Their architecture allows multiple vehicles to charge at the same location, enabling high-traffic charging hubs to manage peak demand and reduce vehicle waiting times.
According to the companies, the chargers deliver energy efficiency of more than 96%. The systems also feature forced-air cooling, modular configurations and front-access serviceability, with provisions to operate under fluctuating grid conditions. A digital CAN interface enables real-time monitoring of voltage, current, temperature and system diagnostics.
For passenger electric vehicles, the deployment will include 120kW DC fast chargers along highways and intercity routes to support shorter charging stops during long-distance journeys.
The new charging infrastructure will also be integrated with CHARGEZONE's proprietary ChargeCloud platform. This will enable real-time monitoring, dynamic load management and predictive diagnostics across the network.
Kartikey Hariyani, Founder and CEO of CHARGEZONE, said the partnership would help the company expand high-power charging infrastructure for different vehicle categories, including passenger cars and heavy commercial electric vehicles.
Ravin Mirchandani, Chairperson of Ador Powertron and Quench Chargers, said CHARGEZONE was the company's first customer for fast chargers. He added that the chargers, including their rectifier and controller modules, are manufactured in India.
CHARGEZONE operates more than 15,000 charging points across over 1,200 locations in India and the UAE. Its network supports passenger and commercial vehicle segments, with technology platforms including ChargeCloud and AutoCharge.
Quench Chargers, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ador Powertron, has deployed more than 1,500 DC fast chargers across India. The company manufactures AC and DC charging solutions for public charging infrastructure, passenger vehicles and commercial fleets.
