CEAT Opens Five New Premium Outlets Across Bangalore

Tyre manufacturer CEAT has expanded its retail presence in Karnataka with the inauguration of five new exclusive CEAT Shoppes across Bangalore and surrounding areas.

The new outlets are located at J C Road, Sarjapur Road, and Nagarbhavi within the city, while two additional stores have opened in the upcountry locations of Puttur and Sira.

The new outlets will feature CEAT's complete range of tyres for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. The company's product lineup includes CrossDrive for explorers seeking durability across diverse terrains, SportDrive designed for luxury vehicle owners requiring superior handling, SecuraDrive for highway driving with enhanced comfort and stability, and Milaze for consumers prioritizing long-lasting performance.

In addition to tyre sales, the outlets will provide value-added services including wheel balancing, wheel alignment, and nitrogen filling. The stores have been integrated with Google search and maps to improve customer accessibility and convenience.

The expansion is expected to generate new employment opportunities in the region. CEAT has committed to providing specialized training programs for staff to ensure they can deliver high-quality service and enhance the overall customer experience.

Market Strategy

The move comes as Karnataka's automotive market experiences increased demand for premium vehicles and high-quality automotive products. CEAT is targeting customers who prioritize premium offerings and seek modern, interactive retail experiences. The company aims to capture the growing segment of consumers who are adventurous and open to new experiences while supporting their lifestyle preferences.

CEAT, founded in 1924 in Italy, operates as a leading tyre manufacturer with presence in over 110 countries. The Mumbai-headquartered company serves as the flagship entity of the RPG Group and produces more than 41 million high-performance tyres annually across various segments including two-three wheelers, passenger and utility vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-highway vehicles.

The company has received notable recognition including the Deming Grand Prize from the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers for excellence in Total Quality Management, making it the first tyre brand globally to achieve this distinction. CEAT also holds the World Economic Forum's Lighthouse Designation for its implementation of fourth industrial revolution technologies.

The RPG Group, established in 1979, reported a turnover of $4.4 billion and maintains diverse business interests spanning infrastructure, tyres, pharmaceuticals, information technology, and emerging technology sectors.
