CEAT, a we tyre manufacturer in India, has announced a significant achievement as its Nagpur plant rolls out its 100 millionth tyre. This milestone reflects CEAT's ongoing efforts to meet the increasing demand for two-wheeler tyres both in India and globally.

Jayasankar Kuruppal, Senior Vice President of Manufacturing at CEAT, highlighted this accomplishment, noting that the 100 millionth tyre rollout from the Nagpur facility underscores the company's focus on innovation, sustainability, and its ability to meet growing market demands. The Nagpur plant has set production benchmarks and advanced workforce empowerment initiatives, including gender diversity with approximately 25% women employees on the shop floor, self-managed teams, and the inclusion of persons with disabilities (PWDs).

Vishal Pawar, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Supply Chain, pointed out that the Nagpur plant is instrumental in fulfilling domestic demand and also serves as a key export hub, supplying markets across the globe. The facility incorporates smart factory capabilities, with AI and machine learning integrated into its operations. By leveraging technology and supply chain, CEAT has established successful partnerships with leading Indian two-wheeler manufacturers. This milestone further solidifies CEAT's role in delivering quality products to both domestic and international markets.

The Nagpur plant, established in 2016, plays a central role in CEAT's two-wheeler tyre production, producing high-performance tyres like the Zoom X3, Gripp X5, and Energy Ride EV. It meets a significant portion of India's two-wheeler tyre demand, reinforcing CEAT's leadership in this market.

In addition to its domestic role, the Nagpur facility is a critical export hub, supplying tyres to markets in Africa, the Americas, Europe, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Nepal, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

The Nagpur plant is certified by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) for its sustainability initiatives. It has achieved high-quality standards and maintains a plantation of 40,000 trees within its boundaries.
