CDK Global Appoints Sudhakar Ramakrishna as President and CEO
Ramakrishna succeeds the retiring Brian MacDonald to lead automotive retail software provider.
CDK Global announced that it has appointed Sudhakar Ramakrishna as its President and Chief Executive Officer. He has also been appointed to the company's board of directors.
Ramakrishna succeeds Brian MacDonald, who is retiring from the executive role and will transition to senior strategic advisor for CDK and its parent private equity firm, Brookfield.
Ramakrishna brings enterprise software experience across cloud computing, mobility, networking, and cybersecurity. He most recently served as President and CEO of infrastructure management software provider SolarWinds and previously headed Pulse Secure. His executive background includes leadership roles at Citrix, Polycom, Motorola, 3Com, and U.S. Robotics.
"I look forward to spending time with our customers, learning from our teams and partners, and carrying forward our commitment to earning the industry’s trust every day," Ramakrishna said.
