Castrol India Limited has announced its return as the title sponsor for The Valley Run – Summer 2025, a prominent drag-racing event scheduled to take place at the Aamby Valley Airstrip from 11 to 13 April. This marks Castrol’s continued involvement with the festival after sponsoring the winter edition in 2024.
Now in its 14th edition, The Valley Run is expected to draw over 700 participants and nearly 17,000 spectators across the three-day motorsport event. The festival will feature a range of racing formats including drag races, drifting, stunting, and mud drags. The venue will also showcase a lineup of superbikes and supercars.
As part of its presence at the event, Castrol will highlight three key product lines: Castrol EDGE, Castrol POWER1, and the Castrol Autocare range. A dedicated Castrol Performance Pitstop will be set up on-site, offering dyno testing, a tuner workshop, and sessions from the Drag Racing School led by international drag racing champion Rickey Gadson. The weekend will conclude with a race featuring Gadson against the fastest drag racer of the event.
Rohit Talwar, Vice President – Marketing, Castrol India Limited, said the event provides a platform for the brand to engage with India’s motorsport community. He added that The Valley Run reflects Castrol’s emphasis on performance and innovation.
Castrol’s continued partnership with The Valley Run is aligned with its broader goal of supporting motorsport talent and performance-driven activities in India.
